Hey guys,

I just wanted to say that I got my financial aid package from Chapman and boy is it the best Christmas gift in the history of my world... I got the Chancellor's Scholarship (worth $16,000 a year) along with an additional $16,000 institutional grant. They weren't lying when they said they met full financial need... cheers!

Looks like I'll be off to Chapman after all. Santa really came through this year... Merry Christmas!

malinvent,

Congrats. It is a terrific school. Glad you got a nice FA package that will make it happen!

Congratulations! :)

Hey, question about that--I'm hoping to be offered something similar if I get in; is there a website somewhere I can get info on it?

Just the financial aid website. There is no specific information regarding institutional grants or scholarships. They are automatically awarded based on merit, need and talent. I even tried finding information on the Chancellor's scholarship but all I found was their office.

i just received a deans scholarship... which is confusing because i didn't apply for financial aid. does anybody know what exactly is a dean's scholarship?

You're not applying for the Law school, are you? Besides, scholarships are based on financial need; they're based on merit.

nope just as an english major. not that i'm complaining about it hahaha 6,000 a year is pretty sweet.
