Best classes and professors at Emory?

Are there any classes at Emory that are known to be especially great? Classes that should not be missed by Emory students during their four years at school (because they are especially unique, interesting, etc)?

How about must-take professors at Emory?

@Clara7338: What’s your range? Most social science or humanities students who are non-prehealth would typically not ever take a top science instructor for example. Basically, if you are not willing to take any intro. science courses, the ones in the sciences are out.

If limited to social sciences and humanities, off top of my head, IDS type of courses: Eisen (has some IDS classes), Patterson (Bobbi from religion), Lafeyette (Bernard Lafeyette, In religion and AA studies and maybe history), Allitt, Lancaster, Rusche, Morey, Lipstadt (Deborah, in Jewish Studies and history), Stein (particularly for Arab-Israeli Conflict, large lecture version or smaller ones), Payne (teaches all types of history classes related to Russia).Walker (Supreme Court I think), Banerjee (economics), David Lynn via ORDER frosh seminar, and many others. Notice how I listed most by instructor name. Courses are driven by how an instructor teaches a course and great teachers tend to apply great methods to teaching any course they engage with.
