Hello, I am going to UCSB in Fall 2012 and I was just wondering if there are any classes anyone highly recommends that are interesting, life changing, or fun.

And are there any incredible Professors out there I should try and take?

And if you really couldn’t figure out the hint, you… probably shouldn’t be going to college…

Why can’t you mention the name here, though? Is it taboo? I’ve referenced many websites by name here and haven’t gotten any sort of warning not to.

@StyxxNStones Yes, I caught the reference, although I do think it’s a tad rude to insinuate someone does not deserve to go to college simply because they may be unaware a website MEANT FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS exists before they are actually IN college.

@EASD I had heard the same about Greek Mythology- definitely signing up for that next year.

Meant to be a joke - but many have told me my humor is a bit off-color at times…
Plus, RMT (don’t ban me!) is a generally well-known website around high and even middle school circles. I would assume RMP (don’t double ban me!) would be just as well known as the offshoot to RMT by at least high school students.
And gosimoes did quite a nice job of implicitly stating which website it was.

If you’re a science/math/any legitimate major, you will likely need to take the Math 3 series. Professor Jeffrey Stopple is hands down the best prof I have had here. His lectures keep you awake, they’re interesting, the class is pretty easy to ace but you really learn a lot.
