What is the best/most fun college Event in the country. Something where there are thousands of college students going absolutely crazy. Here is a link to a few that I've read about, but I want to learn about more..so leave a comment if you know of any.

THON at Penn State is an amazing event…anything that raises almost 7.5 million dollars in one year for any cause is pretty special - that it’s for childhood cancer even more so.

Halloween at UNC-Chapel Hill is pretty intense, basically a huge all night party on Franklin Street. Authorities have tried to clamp down recently though, but its still fun. Nothing beats watching a line of state troopers in riot gear storming down the street at 1230 trying to get thousands of drunk college students back to their dorms.

Also, whenever we beat Dook its pretty much pandemonium on Franklin Street.

Not a party, but an all day celebration of the University. Lots of free stuff. Shuttle bus racing, wind tunnel, dance and song performances, free food, everything a college student needs to procrastinate on a Saturday.

At my school (Rollins) we have a day usually about 3 weeks after spring break called Fox Day. We don’t know when it will be exactly, but when it happens at about 5:30 AM a fox statue is placed out on our school lawn and it means classes are cancelled for the day. Then there’s breakfast provided by the president’s office, we all head to the beach for the day in busses, and we all come back in the evening for a schoolwide barbecue. It’s basically Christmas in the spring…except with a LOT of drinking thrown in!

Kids will also try to guess the day and play Fox Day Roulette in which you skip any assignments you have due for the next day and drink, in hopes that it’s Fox Day.

Fox Day definitely sounds like the coolest so far.

I second that–Fox Day sounds awesome.

Unofficial St.Patrick’s Day at U. of Illinois, an all day long drunkfest where people start drinking at 8 in the morning and police write hundreds of tickets and make similar number of arrests.

**Little 500 at Indiana university. Definitely.

Colleges from all over the entire midwest+northeast come
down to IU just for that entire week. I mean…it gets HECTIC.
It’s truly something else.

As for whoever said the underwear run by UCLA, pffft, fail.

UAlbany Fountain Day. Basically the whole schools jumps into the fountain on the day it is turned on. School provides a DJ and everything.
