Best colleges for Biology/Genetics/DNA

For a student who has already conducted research in DNA applications for biofuels and in genetics in general, what would be the best colleges (LACs, preferably, - but private universities or public honors programs with good research opportunities and scholarships are all welcome) where the biology program is especially strong in genetics. No Greek life (or inconsequential), preferably as much to do outside of drinking as possible (teetotaler). Strong classical orchestra a preference.

Senior, involved in research since junior year, most rigorous schedule available, ACT 34, 3 subject tests 750+, top public school in the state, middle class (just above Questbridge level).
Applied ED to a Top 10 university already, is trying to review or expand list by taking into account a program's "genetics" strength.
Is considering Vassar, Carleton, Lawrence for example.

You might leapfrog ahead a bit and look into programs with strong graduate departments in Genomics or DNA research because you could be taking graduate level classes by your senior year.
Columbia, Yale, MIT, Stanford, Berkeley, Washington University in St. Louis, Cornell and University of Washington all come to mind, although I realize they don’t exactly fit all your criteria.

Yale would be at the top of the list right now.

I would have definitely applied to John Hopkins, the University of Washington and University of CA, San Diego (the last 2 you would have probably been very easily accepted to).
I’m also very interested in genetics, particularly epigenetics in the context of nutrition, because it’s pretty much my 2 favorite things tied into one. Let me know where you get in!(:

the student got into Yale.
