Hey guys I am a senior right now and I live in North Carolina. I do not know exactly what I want to major in at college but I am considering, but not limited to, engineering, computer science, and physics. With these in mind, what are the best in state and nationwide universities that I could go to and still be in a top program for either of these fields?
PS- I have already applied to NC State and plan on applying to Carnegie Mellon, GA Tech, and....Stanford!

Admission chances depends on GPA & test scores, to name but a few factors. Since you’ve given neither it will be hard for people to know if you even have a chance at the most selective schools.

Sorry! My gpa is a 4.0 and a 2040 SAT

1) MIT
2) Stanford
3) Carnegie Mellon
4) CalTech
5) UC Berkeley
6) UT Austin
7) Georgia Tech
8) Michigan
9) Cornell
10) Illinois

In-state, NCSU, UNC-CH (but no engineering), and Duke.

Out-of-state, it can depend on your cost and financial aid constraints.

So would you recommend Duke or NCSU for the best in state?
