<p>My sister went to Emerson…she liked it but it has a very unconventional student body. University of Miami has electronic media and journalism majors. My son is there and he just went to his first electronic media class and like it a lot.</p>
<p>How is Emerson’s student body “unconventional”? My daughter is also looking for Journalism/communications/Creative Writing schools. From Emerson’s website virtual tour, it looks like a bunch of office buildings in the middle of a city rather than a typical college campus with dorms. Can anybody help? We are thinking of visiting but maybe you can save us a trip from California.</p>
