<p>In come cases, a CC may not have full coverage of the lower division courses for a specific major at a specific UC or CSU. In that case, you could see if other CCs nearby have those courses. If not available, you would have to take the missing courses after transfer.</p>
<p>IGETC is a breadth requirement pattern that can be taken at CC in lieu of the differing breadth requirements at various UCs and CSUs. Most (but not all) majors at UC and CSU campuses accept IGETC.</p>
