<p>So I'm mainly looking at Stanford and CMU, I wanted to know from anyone whose had experience with those schools what theyre looking for in a student specifically for the masters computer science program, also if you have any tips on increasing my chances on getting into those schools as i know theyre really competitive.
Another thing I wanted to know is how good those two schools are overall? Like I know theyre the top 2 schools rated for computer science grad school, but i've been hearing some weird things about carnegie mellon specifically and how their program isnt very good for research and I just wanted to hear you guys' opinions on it i guess. </p>
