Best Computer/Tech, UR, BU, W&M, Gettysburg or W&L

I am looking to buy a laptop/convertible device for college, but not sure which of my five tops I am attending yet. Can someone please give me a recommendation for what kind of device, or at least what system (Microsoft vs Apple, I guess) is best for one or each of my schools?
I am familiar with Google products and Microsoft Office, I think I would like at least an 11 inch screen, and am not overly into technology or programming, if that helps…

Thank you again for your time!

If you choose to go to W&L you won’t need to buy office. Once your a student you can download it for free.

As for the system, I don’t think it will really matter anywhere you guy. Just beware, if you are a business/accounting/finance person, excel is very important and on mac’s excel doesn’t have as many features as it does on pc.

PCCowgirl, You may want to do a little digging on your top schools laptop programs. A few years ago Gettysburg still had a lap top purchase program that enabled you to purchase a new HP at a reduced cost that came with a service component to it. If you had a problem you could walk it into the service desk in the library basement and get a loaner while they fixed your laptop at no cost. It proved a bargain when we had to return it almost yearly for hard drive problems. Best of luck to you!
