Best courses at WashU?

My D is currently a freshman and is having a wonderful experience at WashU. She loves her classes and professors. One of her favorite courses is Human Evolution. She registered for the class because she had heard that Human Ev. is one of those "don't miss" classes at WashU. Are there any other "don't miss" classes?

abnormal psych used to have a great reputation, but the teacher changed, I think. what are her interests?

It's not one class, but S is loving the Text and Tradition program.

FYI....I believe the prof that teaches human evolution (which is very popular) will not be teaching that either next semester or next year.....you should have your student check on that.

Yes mtldad. Prof. Smith was promoted to run graduate programs and will no longer be teaching Human Evolution. Luckily, my D is currently taking the course. She absolutely loves it! I was hoping to help her identify some other WashU "famous" courses. Perhaps another approach would be to ask if there are other "not to miss" professors. Jazzymom mentioned the text and tradition program. Are there any specific great courses that someone not part of the text and tradition program can register for? Anything else?

My S is taking Lowry's poli sci course....prof and the course seem to be very popular.
