Best CR Book--Rocket Review vs. Barons 2400

What is better book Rocket Review or Barons 2400 for CR?

Is it worth it to buy Grubers for Math section?

And if u have any other suggestions for sat books please let me know

Hi,
I don't post here often. But maybe this would help:
I got a 630 or CR my first time, 620 my second time and 800 the third time.
The only thing i did before my second attempt was work out all the examples on CB's 8 tests. For the third, I made sure I had sound sleep (it was scheduled the same day as my school midyear exams, so didn't prepare)

on my second and first time, I left out nearly 12 questions on each section...
on my third time, i answerd all but one question on the entire exam.

moral of the story?
Answer all the questions, do CB SAT and understand the way of picking ur choices.

Your anecdote says differently....
According to you, your score dropped 10 points after doing 8 practice tests. Then, your score went up 180 points just because you got some sleep? Trolling? Probably.

I liked Barrons. I took the SAT three times and scored a 730, then 730 again, and then used Barrons and got an 800

u know whats weird? I just got my SAT report today, and apparantley 800 CR in Nebraska is at 97 percentile. hmmm, cornhuskers r really smart....

oh and dont use other books. the BB is the best cuz i missed like 10 on each Grubers CR section. or i guess u could use other test prep books first, then use BB last.

oh, and i thought its funny that people who get 800s on CR lose on average 53 points the second time. Really, the CR involves some luck. I had never achieved an 800 on any practice test, but my mind clicked on test day.

Im kind a n00b, but BB refers to the Book College board publishes correct?

^ Yep ("blue book").

Barrons!!! I'm a Barron's fanatic. I used their books for SAT, SATII, and AP's and they work.
SAT: 2310 (on the Barron practice tests, i was only getting mid 2100s)
SAT II: 800 mathII, 800 Chem, 790 Bio
APs: Calc AB & BC, US Hist, World Hist, Human Geo, Psychology, AP English Language, Physics B, Chem, and Bio. All 5's.
Barron's is the way to go. Their questions are harder than the actual questions. So after practicing w/ Barrons, you feel the actual test to be easier.

^^ yeah, but I used Barrons on my Chem SAT II and mos. deff got a 620.
I thought i did well on the exam, but i didnt.
