Hello, I’m planning to major in Computer Science and I’m trying to decide which CSUs to apply to. Does anyone have any opinions on which has the best comp sci program besides Cal Poly SLO/Pomona?
You should also consider SJSU/SDSU/CSULB/CSU Fullerton and CSU East Bay. Best would also be determined by your stats/qualifications.
These are my stats:
GPA (UW): 4.0
SAT: 1490 (760 Math 730 Reading)
ACT: 35 Composite 36 Math
Math Level 2: 770
I’m retaking the math subject test as well as bio and lit in November. I also have 49 units and a 4.0 gpa at a community college and I’m planning to have my associate’s degree in Math and Science by the end of this school year.
You have excellent stats so you have a great chance at any of the CSU’s. Are you also applying to any UC’s or privates, since you have competitive stats for these schools and a chance for some merit aid?
Santa Clara and UCSC seem like good places to toss an ap.
