Best damn magazine for the SAt period!!!!!!!

so what do u think it would be like what magazine if i read for about a month would improve my score and reading comprehension drastically !!!!!!

is it the Economist or something else

nothing. those who are naturally good at reading comprehension are those who read often their entire lives. The problem with reading comprehension is maintaining focus because passages get boring and a persons mind wanders. I spent an entire summer just reading rc passages from SAT test prep books and to be honest the one thing that helped (outside the 3-4 months of prac) was mouthing the words as I read at a slow pace. By mouthing the words, reading at a fairly slow pace, and reading through the entire passage, I would compensate for the time lost reading the apssage slowly by being able to easily answer questions and not have to refer back to the passage and reread portion again. So the only trick you can use in a one months notice is mouthing, slow pace. Improving on RC will have to do either with luck (how good u r at guessing, how interseting are the passages) or a few months of practicing, recognizing questions, and how fast you should read so you can understand the passage the best. No magazine can really help you do that in one month unless it has the answers for the test

yeah... it's going to take more than a month.

Sophisticated magazines like The New Yorker, The Atlantic Monthly, The Economist, Harpers Magazine, etc. can all help you increase your vocabulary and read more complex works. Also, a good website with challenging essays is Arts and Letters Daily edited by the Chronicle of Higher Education. The URL is http://aldaily.com/.
