Best dorm for BME

Good Morning!

any BME majors who could share insight on the best dorms for a Freshman BME? Also any other tips are appreciated! I just sent in my deposit and took a quick visit to the campus on Friday.

thanks

There is no such thing as a best dorm for BME. Dorms are not populated by specific majors, and as a freshman, you will not be taking many classes in the BME building, so there is really no proximity to class advantage to being on west campus. West campus offers larger rooms, somewhat newer facilities, and proximity to the CRC, but is generally quieter and is farther from football games and parties than dorms on east campus.

thanks Inpursuit!

are you a BME student? I really wanted feedback from someone in the program. I feel that all issues have two sides and would like to hear from a student who has lived it…

Library or an engineering building basement

But trust me…you wont be sleeping

Inpursuit is right. Your dorm won’t make a difference with regards to your major. As a Freshman, you will take a lot of classes that other freshman of different majors also take, so it won’t be hard to find some to study with. Choose whatever dorm you think fits your lifestyle the best.

I’m not a BME, but the same thing applies for all majors.

East campus is more fun :)
