Okay, I know this is early and most of the posts are pre-froshies, but what is the best dorm for soph's. Just starting to think about it. I know that we get first choice.

just for everyone's information,
if you are most considered about money
be a peer educator and stay in cheap brittany or rubin........

What do you mean by "dorms that are best for sophomores"? There's nothing about any dorm that makes it ideal for one class or another. If you want to know about "best dorms", well, we could have a very long argument about the pros and cons of each building.

how do you become a peer educator?

Palladium (10 char)

i've been told the union square dorms-- carlyle court, coral towers, or palladium.

personally, i want to look into greenwich hotel because i just love west village and the river

Depends on what you want - I actually think union square isn't that great. Palladium's rooms aren't that great (I spent a year there, I know), Carlyle's suck if you're in the room without a door and you don't get a common room, most of Coral's rooms are small... no dorm is perfect. For my money, I think the 3 person duplexes in 2nd St are pretty awesome in terms of space & proximity to campus and cool neighborhoods. The common room isn't closed to the bedroom though, so it's only a pseudo common room.

Palladium is definitely my first choice.
