From all the information that the u have got and also if u have had the experience, can u rate the best 3 dorms???????
From what i've heard, its
1. Blair hall: good architecture, lounge, study rooms, seminar etc....
2.little hall: lounge, laundry etc.
3. witherspoon hall: laundry, kitchen, study, lounge.
SO ur turn to rate em now!!! also if possible write the bad things about each of the top three!

Holder will probably be really nice this year after the renovation

Holder, Witherspoon, Bloomberg, 1927, Clapp, and Blair are some of the best dorms for freshmen this coming year.

PLEASE, OH PLEASE LET ME GET HOLDER! PLEASEEEEEEEE!

--David--

Rocky has a nice, central location. my hosts said that rocky and mathey were the best.

Will Rocky still be using some of Little and Edwards (traditionally upperclass halls) this year? Or will it be Mathey, since Hamilton is under construction?

oh yeah my hosts were in upperclass halls. hm idk then.

imo, clapp would be the best dorm for a frosh. Wilson College has the best location and Clapp is definitely the nicest building in Wilson. Its not as pretty as the Rocky buildings but its just as nice on the inside, but with nicer location.

wilson, i believe, has a large substance-free section. thats no fun. :/

personally, id say witherspoon is by far the nicest dorm. it was designed in the mid-late 1800s to be the rich kid dorm. and now recently renovated, the place is like a hotel.

i would second clapp as the nicest dorm for freshman, centrally located, large quads, laundry and game room in the building.......... it used to be all sophomore housing until this year. Feinberg is also a very good dorm to be housed--probably 500 ft from frist, close to everything, all freshmen so you get to be really good friends with everyone, nice rooms, and awesome RCAs (including the usg president next year)

witherspoon, or possibly holder, are the prettiest underclass dorms. Holder is kinda far from everything though, and some of the rooms in witherspoon are kinda small, or old triples that now are quads. Also, witherspoon is no where near as close as either feinberg or clapp to frist, science classes, equad, or athletics.

Anyone have an idea of when we're to get those housing assignments btw?

mid-July :)

I'm looking to be in Rocky.
