Best drama schools with international student body

Hi everyone

It is my first posting on this forum and I need your help!
We are in Belgium and my 18-year old daughter is a very talented and passionate drama actor/musical artist for 12 years now. She has been playing major roles in high school plays and regional theater groups.
Next to that she is academically gifted, receiving honors at high school etc.

She would like to pursue a drama major in the US in an academically challenging environment. What are the best and most competitive drama schools which also have an international student body?????

I am not that familiar with schools in the US but I guess that a liberal arts college would be our best bet? Please can anyone give me a list or link with ranking of college drama departments. Thank you so much for your help.

A desparate but hopeful mother in Belgium.

I'm sure that all of the schools would love having your smart and talented daughter. As far as student body mixture, I found in our visits that Carnegie Mellon seems to have a large population of international students in their general student body. I cannot speak for this to be true in their drama or musical theatre.

You should read about all the schools listed at the top of the web page. You should also consider the schools that have liberal arts educations, as they usually value academic success.

Welcome, and much luck to you and your daughter.
