I am looking for a college with the best eeb program, and if it was stronger in the ecology part that would be ideal but not necessary. Thanks for any help!

LakeWashington, Zapfino, and I have answered many, MANY threads about this over the years. (For example, see [this thread about zoology and marine biology](Zoology & marine biology majors - Science Majors - College Confidential Forums) and/or [this thread about EEB programs](EEB Programs - Science Majors - College Confidential Forums).) I highly recommend doing a search of our past responses.

To answer your question more directly, there are many colleges with excellent ecology programs, but many of these colleges - such as the College of the Atlantic, Harvard, and Michigan State - have little in common except strong ecology programs, and therefore some of them will inevitably appeal more to you than others.

You need to figure out what you want in a college - size, location, selectivity, etc. - before we can help you. It is also important to know what you can afford and what your stats (grades, test scores, etc.) are.

If you are new to the college search process, I recommend reading over the very lengthy post I wrote recently about how to find colleges, particularly those with good biology programs:
