Best Employers for Continued Education?

Are any organizations, preferably in the engineering sector, particularly known for having the best policies for funding their employees continued (graduate) education, and/or attaching the least strings to said agreements?

I was originally considering federal employment (NASA), but the more I read of their educational programs, the less enthused I am about the way they operate. They have limited (Though large) tuition reimbursement if you go to school part time. While they do seem to have very generous fellowships, it looks like you're required to select from a list of very specific academic programs to qualify for them, which may not interest most.

Thank you,
Nukewarm

Have you considered doing a Phd instead of a masters degree? NSF or other fellowships cover the cost of tuition and a stipend making it really not much different than any entry level job. You would certainly have more freedom to pursue your own interests (provided you share them with your advisor).

Most of the defense contractors have decent tuition reimbursement. I know Lockheed Martin has a special program where you get your masters as part of working (full-ride), and at least some parts of Northrop Grumman have “unlimited” tuition reimbursement.
