I am looking to major in Environmental Engineering and I was wondering what is the best school for this in Florida. Colleges in Florida that offer this major are Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida International University, University of Central Florida and the University of Florida. I was also considering the University of Georgia. A few factors that concern me are cost, class size and how reputable their engineering programs are.

I was just looking for information on the engineering program in the schools listed above. If anyone has anything insight it is greatly appreciated!!

University of Miami also has environmental engineering last time I checked.
I don’t know about the reputability of UF’s environmental engineering, but I do know that it is the school that most Floridians want to go to, and has the most prestige.

Florida State also has environmental engineering - to the doctorate level: [Civil & Environmental Engineering :: Welcome to Civil & Environmental Engineering Department of the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering](http://www.eng.fsu.edu/cee/)

FSU and UF were recently named “preeminent universities” by the Florida Legislature and Florida Board of Governors. They are the only two universities in the state so designated to date.
