if you want to work in Investment Banking, you dont need a finance major
for finance, usually a degree from a top ivy or a school like stanford would be sufficient to get yourself in the door

but for schools with a finance major per se
Princeton has a great program
Wharton(of course)
NYU Stern(their specialty)
University of Michigan Ross
UVA
MIT Sloan
UNC Kenan Flagler
Tepper
Gtown
Cornell AEM
USC Marshall and UC Berkely Hass if you want to work on the west coast

there are other ones but these are the power houses

i know several lower tier programs also have great recruiting but these schools are on the leaders

some lower ranked schools have honors or specialty programs that get recruited for exp. indiana university kelley school of business’s investment banking work shop

do u know more of these zoolander? so i can put them as my 50/50s or safe schools depending on how well i do nxt year(senior year? thx~~!!!

Since we are talking about finance programs not business programs, princeton qualifies cause it does have a finance program(it is more math intensive than others though)

hey thx so much! you guys know a lot
well i’m pretty sure i’m going to the states or canada for university…not UK
and i don’t know where i want to work yet, i will probably come back to Asia a few years after i graduate…
and does anyone know how is williams & mary’s business/international/finance program?
also please recommande me some more schools (that are not that reach-reach) for strong finance program :)

The most hard-core finance program available to undergrads is probably Kellogg certificate for undergrads. [Kellogg School Certificate Program for Undergraduates - Kellogg School of Management - Northwestern University](http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/certificate/index.htm)
The first course is the same accelerated finance course that combines two quarters of MBA finance into one quarter. The bad thing about this is you can’t apply as a HS senior because high school seniors don’t have the required pre-reqs.

i am at stern right now and it seems stern is leaning towards a international business phase. We have many many international programs and etc. if you want to do international finance, i would definately consider stern
