Best for economics?

So I really want to know which colleges I could get a large scholarship in (around 70-80%) that are really good for economics. (In the US)
I have a SAT superscore of 2150, and predicted CIE A-level grades are A,A,A, A,B. My extra-curriculars are OK, not too good but not too bad. Thanks in advance :)

Narrow it down to schools where your stats are in the top 1 to 5% of the incoming class. It’s going to be tough to find that amount of aid (30K+) for an international with a 2150 SAT. If you do, the ranking or “quality” of the school may not be to your liking (i.e. unknown back home).

The quality of the economics program shouldn’t be a concern. If you found generosity of that magnitude, it would be a bonus if the school even had an economics department.

What country are you from? What is the “best” school in your country for which you are a match?

I ask because it’s very possible that a school in your own country is a far better option, depending on how important it is for you to go to school in the U.S.

I’m from India, but there aren’t really any good economics courses here. I’m looking at Singapore as well, and US isn’t really my first choice. Thanks anyway.

Hong Kong? Canada? Other countries? Universities there may be less expensive for international students than universities in the US.

Yes, your best schools are STEM-based.

How good are you with STEM? Is it something you want to avoid?

And how much can you pay per year if you went to school in US or Canada for undergrad?
