<p>Well this is for uci...not ucsc...but anyway...it depends. And you don't get to pick your fraternity anyway, you can kinda request one but you can't just pick em out.</p>

<p>So what kind of things or "pledges'' do these frats make you do? Anyone mind sharing ??</p>
<p>Greek things make you run around and do "tasks", or so I've heard. Frat pledges "serenade" sororities by dancing around for them. They dress up a lot.</p>

<p>Yeah...pretty typical stuff. Also, the Asian fraternities are known for being more hard core to their pledges than the regular national fraternities.</p>

<p>That was seriously uncalled for, especially with the "hondacivic" name... UCI is the University of Civics and Integras man. Anyway, I think we are all glad you are going to UCSB. My sources tell me that's where the Asians that hate Asians go.</p>
<p>I think it's SO funny that someone like hondaicivic thinks he/she can never be racist towards Asians because he/she's Asian. For example, if a Chinese hates a Korean....that's still considered racism even if both ethnic groups are from the same continent. Trust me, an Asian can still be racist towards other Asians and what you have said is clearly racist even if you are Asian.</p>
<p>But it's ok if you are a self-loafing Asian hondaicivic. If you really don't want to be Asian, just get a plastic surgery and turn yourself white or hispanic or black or Native American....whichever group of people that you don't despise.</p>
<p>It's pretty sad that you guys think I'm racist against my own race when I'm only speaking out against Asian Fraternities for their illegal hazing and brutal rushing not to mention their racist beliefs. <p>Oh by the way I was doing some research and found out UCI is one of the most conservative UC in california and it's also interesting how there's been some recent allegations regarding anti-semitism at your school.</p>

<p>I don't understand why there's so much pride on CC that when people choose their school they defend it to the death and try to attack other schools. Lame. This is on all sides, I'm not just talking about this thread either. People need to grow up.</p>
