Okay I have a question. It seems like in order to transfer to School of Business or Swanson school of engineering you have to know you want to right away before your Freshman year so you can schedule prerequisites. Doesn’t seem to friendly to those who are Undecided in the School of Arts and Sciences. I’m just saying that when you apply Undecided you start out in Arts and Sciences.
Heres an example: We’ll then say you schedule Engineering requirements as Undecided because you are interested in transfering into Swanson. Then you realize Engineering is not your path and you want to go to Business for its diversity and everything during your Freshman year. Well then aren’t you a full year behind and can’t get into Business because you didn’t take prerequistites?? Their are prerequisities for transfering into Business right?

here is a link to requirements to transfer into Business [Current Pitt Students | College of Business Administration | Pitt Business](http://www.business.pitt.edu/cba/admissions/current-students.php)

It seems like there is some overlap between engineering and business prerequisites, for example calculus and chemistry- I would suggest talking to an advisor at Pitt to get more information about how best to plan your program to keep flexibility for change in majors
