Best freshmen dorm?

My roommate and I are trying to decide between Mudge, Morewood E and Donner. We're both leaning towards Morewood or Mudge, but I sent in my deposit a few days before the deadline and my roommate sent hers in on April 7th, so we're not sure if that's early enough for Morewood or Mudge.
Mudge is beautiful, but we're both worried about ending up in the basement... is it really that bad down there?
And Morewood has everything but does the coed by floor thing mean that a girl is surrounded by girls 24/7?
Any advice/info would be great!

They go off the earliest deposit sent by either of you, and April 7th should 100% get you into Mudge, I’m not sure about Mudge.

The Mudge basement isn’t aesthetically pleasing. This semester it flooded…how fun.

Co-ed floors mean each floor is a single gender. This year, 3/5 of the floors were female, 2/5 were male. It’s not a big deal seeing as a lot of people hang out on other floors anyway.

I’m bias, but I would say live in morewood. You have nicely sized rooms. So close to campus. The Underground in the basement when it gets cold or you feel lazy. (plus it’s open 24/7 during finals week, hooray) Housing Services are in the same building if you misplace your ID card (or you can call campus police, but they start charging you after awhile) and of course health services is in the same building.

Did I forget to mention the fitness room, piano rooms, and general purpose room (most people use for dancing) that are also in the same building complex?

Yeah…Morewood is about convenience. Mudge is more about aesthetics (to a degree) and not wanting to travel more than 5 feet for a bathroom.
