Well this obviously goes to the board seniors but I have to ask; in all your years at Columbia, was there one (just one) teacher for FoS that you found....excellent?

Because, honestly CULPA and the likes are describing Frontiers as "german porn S&M" here. I'm fairly certain a few of these reviews were written in tears and sobs.

So.....is there one who makes this interesting-premise-abominable-execution course a great experience?

Or alternatively....One great science requirement course. It doesn't have to be hippy astronomy, just something that will be interesting and where hard work will pay off.

I'm interesting iBanking and I hear that taking a computer language scripting course will be a huge asset? True?

for frontiers, the two best professors i've heard of are the two australians, stew gil/gill and michelle buxton. everyone i've spoken to who's been in either of their classes has loved them and their class. i don't think you can choose frontiers profs though, pretty sure they are (or were for the class of 2010 at least) assigned.

science req. class depends on what you're into.

Class of 2011 was assigned. I don't think take issue with the teachers as much as the material itself. Sometimes, it was just completely inane ("The Universe is Big") and the Weekly Individual Assignments felt more like busywork than anything else.
