so whats da best dorms in davis? i know most people are probably bias.
where do people end up going? is cuarto realy antisocial?
ive read about segundo dc and it seems its the best. which hall is best for each area?
where is it crakin? wheres da best place to make it crakin?
which place can you have the most fun without complaints?
im up between segundo and cuarto. segundo seems more social and cuarto seems better comfort. cuarto though seems you have to clean your bathrooms.

Yea I hear Segundo is top notch, and in the opinions of most, the best quality dorm. But beside this fact, I'm going for Tercero because its closest to campus supposedly (which means more sleepies!)

I lived at segundo this year...definately feel it's got the best location, feel, social aspect, food. Just my opinion.

I really like Segundo North. Does anyone know how difficult it is to get into your Residence Hall of choice?

It's all luck...i got my first choice, some people get their last choices...it's all just a lottery kind of thing as far as i hear

you don't get to choose the hall, just the area. so you will rank segundo, tercero, and cuarto in order of preference on your housing app.

do the dorms all have different prices? how much more does it cost to get a single?

thanks mr18359!
is it necessary to get gold plus money along with the meal plan?
what is it for exactly? is it just cash you can use as refills in case you used up all the meals?

i just went to the site
and so gold plus money is basically cash you can use to buy foods from stores such as taco bell and pizza hut and you get a 10% discount!

sorry...another question
im confused with aggie cash and gold plus money
whats the difference?
which one is more useful?

if you don't plan on using gold plus, don't get it. you have to use it by the end of the 08-09 school year or else you will lose it...vs aggie cash is something that will roll over into the next school year.
btw you can also convert swipes into aggie cash if you need it later on..but its not really worth it b/c you only get $2/swipe.
