So im having to choose between on camps doulbe room suite style living, or on campus single room apartment living.

Anyone got any advice on which is better ? Im kind of a person that likes some privacy but on the other hand i want to meet as many people as possible and as quickly as possible.

What is everyones experiences with on campus living ?

I live in a suite and I love it. I have a roommate and we share a bathroom with another room of 2. We always have people to talk to and the fact that the hall is all suites does not seem to have stopped people from leaving their doors open and being open to meeting lots of new people.

Double-room suite, hands down. I lived in one junior year and I liked it so much I did it again Senior year. On-campus suites are so nice, and they're usually newer and better-maintained than single rooms.

If by double you mean a shared bedroom, then I would certainly opt for the single. While it is true that you'll meet many of your friends based on where you live, the idea that living in a single somehow impedes your ability to make friends is absurd. New students are all open to meeting one another. Through classes, clubs, or just having an open door on to your room, you'll have plenty of chances to expand your social horizons without giving up privacy.
