Hey guys,

My friend and I are just about to do our housing applications, and we're hoping to learn a little bit more before we choose our preferences.

1) What's the difference between, say, a Double (Shared Bath), and a Double (Two Occupants), as those are listed as two separate options on the application.

2) What's the best option for meeting people?

dont worry about it. no matter what you pick, first years will only get the leftover rooms that nobody else wanted so you will all be packed in triples and the really unlucky ones get jammed into the study room of the floor

but in the future like say your second year double shared bath is exactly that where two doubles room share a bathroom while double two occupants is a room with just two people in it and you share a floor bath room, or if its in the expensive suites, its a private bathroom for that room instead of two rooms sharing one bathroom

Hi lightbulb! I had the same question, so I checked with the housing advisors. The app was kind of confusing because as to whether a shared bathroom means shared between two rooms or the whole floor. Anyway, the person who answered my housing question said that it means shared between two rooms. Hope that helps! : )
