Starting a conversation has always been one fo the hardest things to do. When u meet someone new, whats the first thing u say/ask? Any gr8 topics or subjects one can talk about in genaral?? Or any other questions that might help to start a conversation???

i see two fine girls across the way at a club, one is nice, one looks like shamu!

"go to the fine girl" i hear you ask...NO!

i usually go up to the ugly girl and ask if she wants to have a dance,,,if she says yes then i reply "cool, do you mind if i take your seat, i wanna talk to your friend".....i only do it when im drunk mind...and it doesnt work...but its still a good story to tell your friends when your trying to explain why you have a red slap mark on your face :P

legolas: Those questions do not appeal to a girl, to the ones who know they are good looking. seas of guys go up to them and ask them those same boring questions, instead poke fun. If they are wearing those aeropostale or ripped jeans, ask "What's with those rips in your jeans, cant you afford ones without holes?". Cocky+funny is the best formula, ask the saying goes, the nice guy never gets the girl. It may be true in some cases, but not in most. It's a view you either agree with completely or see as outrageously crazy.

PS: Girls love to talk about entertainment, gossip, pop culture. Even though writing about pop culture on the SAT, it bonus points with girls :D. If you dont have any pop culture topics, go out and buy some entertainment mags like Cosmo.

i like what danieldynasty had to say, except for his postscript. while i do keep up with pop culture i don't expect or particularly want guys to be super-knowledgeable about current fashions or celebrities.
and yeah, making fun is good :) but be nice. i wouldn't be turned off by the questions the OP asked.
