Berkeley–most interesting people in town that is unique. And they play football ON campus. Not 30 miles away in a borrowed stadium.

UCLA Band Mom,

Having taken couple classes at UCLA, I know it doesn’t have the best “academic facilities”.

Hopefully Cal will be able to start renovation of the stadium very soon.

The judge in the “treetard” case will likely lift the injuction within a few days…

TIMBER!!! Good bye stupid Trees… ;)

" UCLA Band Mom,

From what i heard and seen on photos stanford and USC have the best facilities.Which is totally understandable with their huge endowement.

usc - hot white chicks
ucla - hot asian chicks
berkeley/stanford - nerdy ugly short stubby chicks
asu - women of god.

The game at Cal on TV that showed the tree-sitters was pretty amazing. When I was much younger traveling through California we pitched a small tent near the stadium in the woods. Campus cops rousted us out around 4 am. We had planned to sleep in a dorm lounge as we had at a number of other schools but they had too much security even back then. That was a fun trip. Madison-Baja California with 3 guys in a VW bug. Good times.

UCLA band mom,

was this competition among all college bands or did they just perform?

It was a high school band tournament, with bands from all over the southwest. The UCLA band performed in exhibition at the end of the evening. College bands often do exhibition shows at the high school tournaments. Fresno State, USC, UNLV and Riverside Community College Bands also do exhibition performances at these competitions. In 2006 the tournament was held in the Los Angeles Coliseum, with both USC and UCLA performing.
