Best ISP for the apartments?

Helloooo!

I'm moving into atrium soon and I'm really unsure about which internet service provider to get. My roommate suggested Time Warner but I've heard only bad things about the customer service and connection reliability. Does anyone have any input on Time Warner? Or on the other big names: Verizon, AT&T, etc.? Or do you guys have any suggestions based on previous experience in the apts?

Mind you, there are 6 of us living in the apartment (o_O) so the connection needs to be stellar! Otherwise, people will die. I needz mah inturnet.

Oh and I suppose it should be noted that we're looking at Time Warner, Verizon, etc. because we're planning on getting a TV & internet bundle!

Time Warner sucks. I got dced like over 10 times this year for various amount of time(over an hour). Choose anything but time warner.

Haha duly noted!
Does anybody else have any suggestions?

We have Verizon, as do most people in our building I think since the landlord’s contact sheet listed Verizon as the people to call for internet, and it works pretty well. We’re only using the internet so no comment on tv/cable.

Had Verizon DSL and it only got disconnected once in the past two years. Things to note: we had the 7 Mbps plan for 4 people but the average speed was around 3 Mbps in the morning and afternoon. From 6 pm to midnight weeknights, the speed would crawl down to 1 Mbps or under. Speeds were faster on the weekends.
Time Warner blows!!

Get anything but Time Warner. Shuts off randomly, slow as f… when multiple people are on the internet at once, just bad all around.

Bump if anyone else wants to input. I also happen to be looking for ISPs (on Landfair, if that makes a difference.)
