Best job outlook out of these colleges?

How do the job recruitment and hiring compare for

-UC Berkeley
-UC LA
-UC Davis
-Cal Poly SLO
-USC
-Stanford
-UoP

Stanford is on its own level. Then it’s Berkeley. Then it’s USC and UCLA, pretty much the same in terms of recruiting with a slight edge for USC.

Thank you :)

So many factors come into play (your major, your internship and work experience, the kind of job you’re seeking, where you are looking, etc.) that it would be nearly impossible to measure how much any given college influences your job prospects.

Students at more more selective schools presumably do have better career prospects than other students. However, it would be hard to determine how much of that is due to the college and how much is due to the kinds of people it attracts. At least one research team (Alan Krueger and Stacey Berg Dale) has concluded that, when you control for the qualifications of admitted students, a degree from a more selective school makes little difference in earning potential. Maybe the differences are more clear-cut for initial offers to students with similar qualifications, in some fields at least.
