From website "Academic Analytics" 2005 rankings:

Kinesiology & Exercise Science:

Arizona State University
East Carolina University
Lousiana State Univ & Ag & Mech
University of Delaware
University of Florida
University of Illinois at Chicago
University of Iowa
University of Maryland - College Park
University of South Carolina at Columbia
University of Wisconsin - Madison
Washington University St. Louis

Just as a heads up for the OP--Academic Analytics is a faculty productivity ranking--it's primarily about measuring how much faculty publish and how much those works are cited in the field. So it's measuring something fairly specific and may not be the kind of ranking you were thinking of. It also bears mentioning that some academics also seriously question the weights it assigns to certain factors.

Anyone else?

My brother is Majoring in Kinesiology at Penn State-UP. But I don't know how good it is.

Rice has a top knotch program

also, check out Michigan

I've heard good things about Northeastern.

This might help:

anyone else?

Springfield College??

If you are looking for a small college/LAC check out Skidmore as they have an Excercise Science major
Also look at Ithaca College
