Best LACs in/around NYC?

<p>What are some of the best LACs that are around NYC, in NY, or in the surrounding area. I'd like to look into some, but I'd prefer to be close to this area</p>

<p>(being male, obviously not Barnard)</p>

<p>Lafayette College is in Easton, PA, about 60 miles west of NYC along I-78.</p>

<p>They will be outside of the city–Vassar, Sarah Lawrence, Bard.</p>

<p>Colgate and Hamilton are both upstate.</p>

<p>Hamilton and Colgate are 4 hours from NYC.</p>

<p>colgate, hamilton, and lafayette i wouldn’t consider “close” to nyc. this guy probably likes the nyc area, and those wouldn’t be easy to go to every weekend or so.</p>

<p>but yes, eugene lang, the new school (which eugene lang is part of/affiliated?), bard, vassar, sarah lawrence, columbia school of general studies, manhattanville.</p>

<p>those are just the small LAC’s. theres alot of good universities in the area too (fordham, etc)</p>
