Best Linear Algebra book to self-study from?

I want to learn Linear Algebra for the sake of it, and our school does not offer it :(

Is there any good textbook from which to study from?

Not a textbook, but check out MIT OCW Scholar: <a href=“Linear Algebra | Mathematics | MIT OpenCourseWare”>http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/mathematics/18-06sc-linear-algebra-fall-2011/

The textbook I used in the Linear Algebra class I took is called Linear Algebra and its Applications, 4th edition by David C. Lay. It’s a pretty good book, especially for doing practice problems :)

I’ll look at those. Thanks
