Best MCAT Prep Book Worth Purchasing?

I want to start studying for it now.

Which company's book actually explains all the material best and with sufficient detail as well as have practice tests representative of the real exam?

examkrackers

oh sweet thats what ive heard from a lot of people-so have you ever found mistakes on any of the q’s.

what about berkeley review or barrons or kaplan or princeton review-have you tried them all and found examcrackers best or did you only use examcrackers and not sure about the other?

thanks :)

any other recommendations welcome too

this is a uc berkeley alumna’s blog. she got a 40 on the mcat. 3.33 cum gpa. 3.15 science gpa. did not get into any med school. Did well in the mcat however using examkrakers though. lol. She has you tube videos about mcat prep. no time to show u the links gtg.

Examcrackers if you know your **** and just need to review.
Berkeley Review if you want a more detailed explanations.
Both are really good review books.

Princeton Review Hyperlearning is excellent if you can find it. (They’re only given to students who take their course)
Do not confuse this with non-hyperlearning princeton review books because Examcrakers and Berkeley Review are better.

For practice exams, purchase the AAMC online tests.

Examkrackers for verbal (100 passages or w/e it’s called) for sure. Their “1001 Questions for MCAT Biology” is pretty good too.
