Hi! I am a freshman college student and majoring in Biology. I am planning to go to medical school (hopefully), and I just wanted some advice on the type of MCAT prep books I should buy. I know everyone uses AAMC practice tests along with their prep books, but what kind of prep books should I buy? I heard the best prep books are Kaplan, Examcrackers, and Princeton Review. Some people say PR is too detailed, and some say EC is too watered down. I also heard some complains about Kaplan as well. I am just confused!! I was thinking of buying the Examcrackers for the verbal part of the exam and Biology, and to buy Kaplan for the rest of the other subjects (i.e. organic chem, chem, physics). Also, is psychology and sociology included in the verbal section?

So yeah. I just needed some advice on this. I read other threads as well, but there is always a different answer from everyone. I just wanted to know which one of these prep books is more likely to give me a higher score on the MCAT exam (and yes I am going to study like crazy for it!!). By the way, science and mathematics are my stronger subjects if that helps.

Thanks!
