Best Meteorology/Atmospheric Sci Colleges?

New Jersey son loves weather. B student. Will travel. What do you recommend for the best programs in this area that are NOT Ivy League, where he'd also have a great social experience too?

Want to start visiting schools soon!
Thanks!

There is a slight difference between the two fields, depending on what he wants to do career-wise. If he plans to become a meteorologist, there are specific guidelines to follow.

If he wants to go into research or pursue a graduate degree, there are more options (a physics, chem, or geology major would work just as well for getting into grad school).
