I know not all schools will offer a “Pre-Med” major, but I would really like to find out the best NYC schools for med school pre reqs and for students hoping to go to med school. Anything would be helpful! I live about an hour away from the city, so I would be paying in-state tuition if that helps.
'Well . . . in state schools in NYC would be mainly CUNYs. There are many choices there CCNY is the first that comes to mind.

If you want a straight premed program in a liberal arts setting, also look at Hunter College. Also look at Lehman in the Bronx.
The closest SUNY (beyond FIT which doesn’t have the science classes) would probably be Stony Brook. It has a great science program, but it’s further out from the city.
