Best of the Best in the Midwest

Hey guys,
Just found this on TheU.com
It gives you an idea of the academic rigor and applicant competition; I pulled up the stats for these institutions for a poster on the School Selection forum (who was debating between these three). These are some of the best universities- if not THE BEST- for the midwest. Nationally, they are all ranked highly (Top 15), for those of you who are curious.

ALL OF THESE SCHOOLS ARE GREAT/ STELLAR/ PRESTIGIOUS / EXCELLENT / THE BEST!
There is no “the best” because they all are! Frankly, it mindboggles me when CC’ers try to figure out the top-ranker school in every scenario. What is the obsession with determining “which is better” if not for practical reasons?
