Best One Week Summer programs - besides BROWN!

Hi, well its april and i didnt even realize how quickly it flew in. I was going to make plans for the upcoming summer in decemeber...obviously preplanning does not turn out the way i hoped it would in terms of these summer programs. Oh well.

Now, i understand i have very little room to be selective here at this point in time. But, can anyone please recommend a nice summer program about one week long as i may be doing an internship, but am also really interested in going out of Illinois for a change ....you know just to meet new people and be in a college setting. Brown seemed appealing, but it is not going to be a future choice for me for sure...so i ruled that out, whats left?

I am a rising junior...please help ASAP!

Thanks :)

greatbookssummer.com is an amazing literature program; best camp i have attended so far, very organized

You’ve got to check out Blueprint Summer programs! I went for two weeks last summer to Stonehill College in Easton,MA and it was amazing. They have multiple locations at colleges on the east coast such as George Washington University or Haverford College. I really got a feel for what college would be like and I got to study Creative Writing, which is what I am interested in majoring in. But they have programs for any interest…from business, to fashion, to psychology, and more! check out bpsummerprograms.com for more info and to sign up for an amazing experience :)))

has anyone else been to blueprint that can comment on it? I became interested after your post marissasmith, but would love to hear more. Haverford is one of my top choices and I would love to go there over the summer for a week or two!

We received a mailing and a phone call from one of the directors of Blue Print because we were interested. He did pass on an email, for a parent whose niece went last summer, whom I did communicate with. My daughter was also interested in Haverford. It seemed more commercial than academic, not necessarily bad. I felt that the woman who communicated to me had been prompted on what to answer and that was frustrating. I had posted on here and found nothing. Wouldn’t be curious if there are more answers.
