I'm looking for schools that will make my wildest dreams come true.

West Virginia, UT, Arizona St., Indiana, Penn St., Ole Miss come to mind

Arizona State University, Arizona, UCSB, Penn State, Wisconsin, Florida State Univ., Clemson, & most large state supported universities. It depends upon what your idea of partying is. Many schools that are fraternity & sorority dominated, such as Ole Miss, offer one category of partying, while urban schools, such as NYU, offer a different type of partying. I agree with the above post except for Indiana. Schools such as ASU, Penn State & Wisconsin make Indiana look like a bunch of Mormans on a field trip to Bob Jones University.

There are two different types of party schools IMO. In the first group, you have mostly state schools (with many notable exceptions) that are in relatively isolated college towns that thrive on Greek Life. In this category, you have just about every SEC school (not Vandy), West Virginia, Texas A & M, Depauw (a small liberal arts school in Indiana) and Washington and Lee (again, another small liberal arts school that bucks the trend.).

The second category of party schools are in lively cities that thrive on the party scene of their surroudning area. Notable schools in this category include Tulane, George Washington, NYU (not the entire school, but you can easily find a good time and large contingent of partiers), University of Wisconsin. While many of these schools might have significant Greek Life, it usually takes a back seat to the nightlife of the surrounding city.

I strongly prefer the second category of schools. Greek life isn't my thing at all but I definitely love a wild party here and there.

Another thing to consider is whether you want to party a lot or just on weekends.

Top academic schools like Vandy, USC, Wisconsin, Penn State, etc. are going to have a strong party scene on weekends. During the week, however, people tend to crack down and do some serious work. These schools are known for having highly rigorous and intense academics in addition to parties.

Other party schools are more relaxed academically and offer a lively party atmosphere throughout the week. You still get a solid education, but you have more time for play. This tier of schools would probably include Ohio State, West Virginia, Michigan State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, etc.

ut austin most def

I second UCSB and SDSU.

Arizona State by far.

"My dad still brags to me about how much tail he got."

Wow, that sounds....awkward

To quote Lili Von Shtupp, " It's True, It's True!"

"UW Madison if you want a solid balance of books, babes and beer*
My dad still brags to me about how much tail he got."

Parents who have sex with animals that have tails (bestiality) shouldn't "brag" about their zoophilia.

Okay, lets not be stupid and take that out of context.

The viability of such speak CLEARLY depends on the fluffiness of the fur of the animal in question. Why do you think so many men are trying to get 'beaver.' Just think about it.

I think we have hit a new low here. I fell badly for contributing to it.
