best paying jobs / liberal arts

I am just curious, does anyone know about salaries if you study liberal arts?
Can you ever earn a lot of $ by studying something like music, art, communications etc?

yeah man, communications and art can take you to high payoing jobs, advertisements, etc. communications, my neighbor works at UPS and is prob malking around 150 k, and hes what, 35, he majored in communications at vtech

you're asking a question without a real answer. Its a common problem, because people confuse vocational education (accounting, engineering, nursing, etc) with a liberal arts education. The confusion is natural because both types happen at places called "college" and there is some overlap between the majors these days; even those pursuing vocational degrees take liberal-arts courses.

The way to think about it is that while a liberal-arts degree doesn't lead directly to a job, a degree is a requirement for many jobs these days. What you do with your degree is limited by you, although the reputation of your college, your grades, and your participation in things such as internships has a strong impact on the opportunities you'll have when you first leave college.

okay...how about if I would study say music management. Would that lead me to good paying jobs? How about other music jobs? Music is my real passion!

Music doesn't require a degree at all. Just study it by yourself. Unless you are going to teach music, save the money for college and self study.
