Which of these movies should win? Which do you predict will win?

Ladies and gentlemen, here are the nominees...

BEST MOTION PICTURE - DRAMA
BABEL
BOBBY
THE DEPARTED
LITTLE CHILDREN
THE QUEEN

btw, I predicted The Queen and The Departed to appear on this list very early last year :)

BEST MOTION PICTURE - COMEDY OR MUSICAL

BORAT: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan
THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA
DREAMGIRLS
LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE
THANK YOU FOR SMOKING

Drama: The Departed. Vindication for Scorcese.

Comedy: Toss up between Little Miss Sunshine and The Devil Wears Prada.

BEST MOTION PICTURE - DRAMA
BABEL
or
BOBBY

BEST MOTION PICTURE - COMEDY OR MUSICAL
LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE
or
THANK YOU FOR SMOKING

Drama: The Departed
Comedy: Little Miss Sunshine (my favorite movie)

Devil wears prada!!

But we can't underestimate Dreamgirls.

I think:

Drama-The Departed
Comedy/Musical-Dreamgirls (would prefer Little Miss Sunshine)

These nominations are a sham. Both Flags of Our Fathers and Letters From Iwo Jima were forgotten about. I saw both and they were very good. At least one of the 2 should have been nominated to represent Clint Eastwood's efforts.

Drama - The Departed, it was a lot better than little children, although little children was pretty good. Comedy - Thank you for smoking or the devil wears prada. I second the aboe post about Flags of our father and letters from Iwo Jima - both were great.

I haven't watched any of the films! I'm very frugal.
