<p>Check with your university. At mine, students can get a copy of Office 2007 for only $33.</p>

<p>I did that ultimatesteal thing last year, and the download never worked. It wouldn’t install. Thankfully I also picked the option to get the disc and that worked.</p>

<p>^Actually your college campus bookstore is the cheapest place where you can get it. At UMich, you can get a copy of the Office 2007 (both PC and Mac) for $45, because they have a deal with Microsoft.</p>

<p>And plus, it’s legal. :D</p>

<p>I don’t know if this may help, but today I got invited to participate in the office 2010 Technical Preview program. I am installing Office 2010 for free right now, so it may be something to look into. I think there is a waitlist. My main office suite I got from my university for a big discount at $12 for the Enterprise Edition.</p>

<p>If you can, try to get it through your school - you can get HUGE discounts there! I know someone at UNC who is getting a whole new set of programs this year before she graduates for about $100. =)</p>

<p>I got the ultimate steal one through Microsoft was well. I did not bother will the down load I got a disc from the college computer tech at my school for free. I just basically bought the key.</p>

<p>I got the Ultimate Steal deal. I downloaded it and installed the file.</p>

<p>Got a blank CD-R, sent the .exe (executable) file to a compressed file/folder and then burned the .exe file to the disc.</p>

<p>I laugh at all the people who actually wasted additional money on the discs.</p>

<p>Son’s College sent his copy last week, so that everyone was running the same version. They supplied Windows or Apple. So check with the school first.</p>
