I just got a list of the books i am going to need and I was wondering where is the best place to get these books for cheap. Online? Some store in Davis?

And if it is online, is Amazon the best place to go?

Thanks

Nvm, I found a thread that answered my q..

Sorry, my original post was referring to new books. For used, again, I have no idea. I did the textbook reservation thing, and I opted for the used books. For the current UCD students, how are the used books? Are they still in good condition?

It totally depends on the book, usually I buy books online from Amazon. Sometimes the bookstore is cheaper for a used book then I sort through the books to find the best one. Some books are highlighted some have some wear but some are pretty much new so it just depends on how lucky you are :)

I use bookfinder4u.com to search for the books by ISBN.

Is it too late to reserve books through the bookstore right now? I always figured Id just wait til classes started to worry about it but I guess its better safe than sorry..

^That's what I said. I don't think its too late. It ends today (Monday), so i think you still can reserve them.

It ends on the 20th. (tomorrow)

Awesome, just sent it..

I would try finding your books at Half.com. It is a great website and I can always find textbooks there at cheap prices.
