Best Place to Eat?

I’m visiting tomorrow. where is the best place to eat around campus? what is the “student favorite?”

eat at oxley's cafe
its on campus close to fisher
they serve soup and sandwiches, and lots of students are always there
enjoy your trip to osu, it's a great place!

I suppose that depends on where you will be on campus. It will be cold, so you'll probably want somewhere close. On High Street, I like Raising Cane's, which essentially serves these excellent fried chicken strips with various sides, and this small restaurant that serves pita sandwiches and soup. On campus, I like the food offered at the RPAC, over by Lincoln and Morris, and the Fresh Express places have a lot of food options. I think the "student favorite" varies by location, but there will be students everywhere you go. Enjoy seeing the campus.

Raising Cane's is one of the most popular places for students to eat. Buckeye Donuts is also a campus institution and has good gyros/fries if that's your thing. (Both on high street.) There are a bunch of pizza places - I like the 'Flying Pizza' on High but Adriatico's is also great. (It's on 11th, basically on campus.)

I haven't been there, but my friends like Phat Wraps (10 E 12th Avenue.)

On campus, Mirror Lake Caf

Oxley's has good sandwiches, so if you want a taste of on-campus food, I'd go there. If you're into burritos, Burritos Noches on North Campus is good too. I can't say much about off-campus yet, although Adriatico's (around South Campus) has pretty good pizza in my opinion.

i ended up eating at Mirror Lake Cafe. it was pretty good.

did i just not see it or does OSU not really have centralized dining locations like other universities have? it seems like they have smaller, more spread out specialty places instead.

on the north side of campus, near all the dorms there , there is one building (North Commons) that holds "traditions dining" (cafeteria) a Fresh Express and Burritos Noches.

Other than that, yea, most of the dining locations are spread out.

Nmike covered north.

On West there's a pizza place, a fresh express, and the RPAC has a sort of general health food atmosphere. There's also the View Point, which is a nicer restaurant place with menus. South has a general buffet (Kennedy), the Marketplace (has everything). I'd say Oxley's (a cafe), Campus Grind (coffee/bagels/salads sort of stuff) and Mirror Lake (sandwiches) are more or less central.

I'm sure I'm missing some (there are more at OSU Campus Dining Services : Facilities & Hours) There is a variety but it's not super separated overall.
