Best Pol Sci Undergrad Schools...?

Come on folks! Let's list 'em! :)

while we're (going to be) on the topic (sort of)...
how about top Foreign Affairs/Poli Science undergrads?
how is Columbia in that area too?

Bumposity.

I found the following colleges in my search, and have applied to each:

George Washington University (DC) 36% accept rate, 1270 avg SAT
Trinity College (CT) 36% accept rate, 1310 avg SAT
American University (DC) forget, but accept is a lot higher, and avg SAT lower

This is sorted in terms of academics. Being a poli-sci major, you would likely want to be in DC, in which case American may supercede Trinity.

I originally chose GWU as my 1st choice, but after finding the admissions office rather disorganized (I requested information like 10 times, including the college visitor, but received a single piece of useless mail in late Dec when I was almost done filling out apps), and it costs a FORTUNE. I have since applied to Trinity ED because they have a very strong Political Science program, good internships, and a very lucrative fin-aid package.

There is a political science thread in the other majors area where some people have listed top polysci programs. When considering top foreign affairs and poly sci programs, you should remember Georgetown, Yale, and Princeton.

Georgetown has a good program, esp. because of its location. Yale, while its program is also strong, is in a pretty bad location w/ New Haven - sure there are internship opporutnities, but not nearly as many as other colleges. Princeton I cannot speak to...

Anarchy24: American's average SAT score is 1223, dont know the accept. rate though

i cant be bothered to look it up, but I think its somewhere between 66% and 70%
